Sheringham
Sheringham is a delightful seaside town, set on the scenic North Norfolk coast. It is nestled between the countryside and the shore or “twixt sea and pine” as it is known locally. Originally a small fishing village, the arrival of the railways in 1887 turned Sheringham into a popular destination for visitors. Over time it has expanded into a thriving town with many places to eat, places to visit and diverse shops. It has been awarded eleven consecutive European Blue Flags for the cleanliness of its beaches and achieved it again in 2011.
